On behalf of the Logan County Board of Education, the Local Planning Committee will meet Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 5:00 p.m. at the district office. This meeting will be to vote on the proposed District Facilities Plan.

District Facilities Plan Public Forum Announcement
On behalf of the Logan County Board of Education, the Logan County Schools' Local Planning Committee will hold a Public Forum to solicit input concerning the District Facilities Plan on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at the district office. The meeting is open to the public.

School Information

OUR MISSION: To enable all students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become successful, contributing citizens.

District Description: The Logan County School District serves the people of Logan County living outside the boundaries of the Russellville Independent School District. The incorporated cities of Adairville, Auburn, and Lewisburg as well as parts of Russellville are within the District boundaries. We operate 5 pre-school through grade 8 schools and one central high school. Links to each school are provided in the frame to the immediate left.

The District serves approximately 3,400 students with a minority population of about 5%. Approximately 43% of our students qualify for free or reduced priced meals.

Logan County is located in south-central Kentucky, just 25 miles west of Bowling Green and 30 miles east of Hopkinsville. Clarksville, TN is located 35 miles to our southwest and Nashville, TN is located 50 miles south.
