District Level Facilities
|
Logan County High School Completed in 1982, Logan County High School is the oldest complete building in the Logan County School District. An addition currently housing the Freshman Academy was completed in 2002. Since that time, the decorum of the older building has been altered to match the new wing. In addition, the original heating a cooling units have been replaced by state of the art H-VAC systems. Logan County High School has a current enrollment of approximately 980 students. Below are some images of the building as well as other features of the campus. Complete athletic facilities include football stadium, track field, baseball and softball fields, gymnasium, & tennis courts. The building is fully air conditioned, including the gym. Two somewhat unique features of the LCHS building are the Commons Area and the Court Yard. The commons area serves as a cafeteria during the school day, but is also equipped with a stage and serves as a meeting area and stage production facility for after school events. The original building was built around a garden-like Court Yard, complete with trees and ornamental plantings.
